Hello, I am Kathleen Robinson, and I have been reading the Tarot Cards since 1995, and am at your disposal now to help you make that link with the Universe.

My previous career was in Quality Assurance in the Service Industry and I wanted to deliver a fully accountable Tarot Service that would deliver fun and yet make sure that you would be delighted again and again. East Yorkshire Tarot is the marriage of the ancient art of tarot and the new aspect of quality assurance !

I hope to bring you an insightful reading in the format that is suitable to you. Your private reading is loaded onto a CD at the time so you can listen to the readings again and again! This I feel is a good ‘free’ feature as sometimes you want to refresh yourself with what was said and this is the ideal way.

Many find readings to be fun and the great thing to bring people together in a relaxed atmosphere at home.

I use ‘Morgan Greer’ cards, which are very beautiful and help to describe the features revealed in the reading with you.

What is Tarot ?

Tarot cards developed around the 17 Century about the same time are regular playing cards. The regular cards were called ‘trump’ cards and the word Tarot was developed from then onwards. The Romany community  developed this to incorporate with fortune telling. In the Victorian age, it was considered very fashionable to have ‘Tarot gatherings’ and from then on Tarot card reading has remained as popular as ever.
Tarot cards when used properly, are a fantastic way to help you focus on what the universe has to offer you, and how this fits in with your life at the moment.
There are 78 cards in total. Some cards are called ‘Major Arcana’ cards which means they show more significance than the remaining ‘Minor Arcana’ cards, as far as trends in your life goes.
Together they depict your unique situation and point towards a possible outcome in the future.

What is a Tarot Reading ?

My tarot reading takes place at your home or a venue organised by you. In a private setting so confidentiality is maintained if you are entertaining at a group event.The cards are mixed and split. While the cards are mixed you focus on them to input your energy into the universe. Some people have a question to ask at this time, others require a general reading, it is designed with you in mind so you decide what to do at the time.

After a thorough mixing,  the cards are put into a bundle and handed to me. I will then put them into a fourteen card ‘horseshoe’ reading. The cards have specific meanings and  can help to ‘illuminate your Destiny’. I always say that it is worthwhile to think of a couple of specific questions that you might want to ask, prior to the reading with me. This is because after the fourteen card ‘general reading’ , its then up to you to ask a couple of your own questions that we can take a look at  during your time with me. It may be about relationships, work, home and family , its up to you, and its up to me to make sure you have a fantastic ‘time to remember’!
